It takes place every Saturday in the historic village of Balon, near Porta Palazzo, between the historic market of Porta Palazzo, one of the largest markets in Europe and the Dora Riparia river. The Balon village takes its name from a particular habit that had workers, hours of rest, to bet on football game stretch. At that time, transportation was by means of horses, so along the wide streets of the Borgo Dora were the stables: there are still traces of those, however, turned into taverns and pegs.
